sleaze rock, it may be? ... but i ain't ashamed to admit it: i've been listening to velvet revolver's debut album 'contraband' over the last few days.

u know, the band formed a few years ago by the lead guitarist (slash), bassist & drummer formerly from guns 'n roses as well as the singer from stone temple pilots & a guitarist from wasted youth. (incidentally the drummer previously played with the cult too.)

i like the debut albums of both the gunners and s.t.p., and i'd got a copy of 'contraband' last year from a friend along with a lot of other stuff. i'd only listened to it once or twice before this week. not that i didn't like it then, but i didn't feel compelled to listen again before now.

then on monday night i watched a show about alice cooper. that was interesting enough in itself, but that's another story ... anyhow slash was interviewed (evidently he is quite a cooper fan) and seeing him prompted me to listen to 'contraband' again this week. i'm enjoying it

it's a big machine

I haven't seen anything on alice cooper recently -unlike you, you lucky thing - but must say that I do think he's an interesting man and not like I would have expected. Thanks for doing the silly music quiz, by the way. I enjoyed your answers! Might have to do another one in a few days time just for fun.
