i had some help! from a friend ...
the bottle caps were from home-brewed stout.
and not all 4 bottles of vino were full at the start of the night ...
(some had been started the previous night)

Was reading "doctor at sea" last night -enjoyed what he said after a big night on the turps: "The next morning I was suffering from a sharp attack of the death wish" .
