i've loved talking about kiss ... and to this amusing topic i shall return; but for now weird forces which i can't fully explain seem (to me) to be indicating that i should discuss pink floyd's 'dark side of the moon'.
more on this topic at another time quite soon - for now let me leave the comment (by someone other than me) that as much as anything, it is all the 'little voices' heard between & during songs on this album which largely constitute the 'dark side' ... ?

You know, I've never owned a copy of TDSoTM, but I've got quite a few other Pink Floyd records. Recently came across a bunch of Syd Barrett stuff from after he left/was kicked out of the band.

the quote which dan has produced is of course from 'the wall'. speaking of which, i love the scissors sisters' beee-gees-esque version of 'comfortably numb' from the same album!
andy - dark side is my favouyrite pink floyd album - i assume u r at least familiar with it?

Yeah, I know about it. I've heard the famous tracks off it, "Time", "Money" (dig the 7/8 bass riff), "Us and Them". I guess at some point I must have heard the whole thing, but I've never sat down and given it a serious listen as a album.

yes i highly recommend that u listen to the whole album. what i do have handy in the meantime is a mp3 version of a cover of the whole album, called 'dub side of the moon' by the 'easy star all-stars'. it came out a couple of years ago and contains dub versions of every song - sounds kinda cheesy but works & translates well i think (and no great transformations of tracks in many cases). let me know if u r interested.
